The current price-guide rates
The calculator uses the standard hourly limits for assistance with self-care and community participation — the supports most providers deliver day to day — plus provider travel by the kilometre. Here is the full ladder it draws from.

Every figure here is a cap, not a fixed price. You can charge less, but a claim that goes over the limit — even by a cent — can be rejected or recovered.
How NDIS rates work
The NDIS sets a maximum price for each support, and that price moves with the day type. The same hour of support costs more on a Saturday than on a weekday, more again on a Sunday, and most of all on a public holiday. Evening work, counted from 8pm, sits above the weekday daytime rate. So the first thing a calculation needs is not just how many hours, but which kind of day they fell on.
Travel is separate. When a worker drives to deliver a support, you can claim provider travel by the kilometre — at one dollar per kilometre — on top of the support itself. Across a week of community visits, that adds up to a meaningful sum that often goes unbilled.
Getting the day type right is where most billing slips happen, because a weekday rate applied to a weekend or public holiday shift looks perfectly ordinary in an accounting package and nothing flags it. For the full picture, read our NDIS price guide explainer and our guide to NDIS claiming.
