Model the bill your future team will actually pay

Enter your active participants and support workers. If another platform gave you a per-user quote, add it to compare the monthly structure at the same team size. This is a pricing-model comparison, not a vendor quote.

Why per participant, not per user?

Most NDIS software charges per user — per worker or per coordinator. That model penalises providers for building a reliable casual workforce. A small provider with 8 participants and 20 casual workers would pay for 20 seats of software, even though only 8 participants' care is being managed.

Rostrel charges per active participant — one who had at least one shift, note or claim in the month. Add as many support workers and coordinators as you need. If a participant is on leave or has no activity in a month, they do not count toward your tier.

This keeps your software cost aligned with the revenue you actually generate — and means your bill stays stable even as you grow your workforce to deliver better coverage.

For NDIS providers comparing software costs

Rostrel's per-participant pricing model means a provider with 15 active participants pays $349/month regardless of whether they employ 5 or 50 support workers. All plans include PRODA-ready claiming, SCHADS award payroll interpretation, case notes, rostering and Xero integration at no extra cost — with no per-module fees, no setup fee and no minimum contract term.

Frequently asked questions

How is Rostrel priced?

Per active participant, not per support worker. Starter is $299/month (up to 10 participants), Growth $349/month (up to 30), Scale $699/month (up to 75), Enterprise $899/month (75+). All plans include unlimited workers and all features. A free tier (up to 8 support workers and 15 active participants) launches 1 August 2026.

What does "active participant" mean?

A participant who has at least one shift, note or claim in the billing month. Participants on leave or with no activity in a given month do not count toward your plan limit.

Is there a setup fee or minimum contract?

No setup fee and no lock-in contract. Onboarding and data migration assistance are included. Cancel at any time. Annual billing gives you two months free.

Why charge per participant instead of per user?

Per-user pricing penalises providers for growing their workforce. A casual roster of 20 workers covering 8 participants would cost far more on a per-user model. Per-participant pricing keeps your software cost aligned with the revenue you generate.
