NDIS billing software that claims, uploads and reconciles.
Billing is where NDIS providers leak revenue: work delivered but never claimed, claims rejected on a retired item number, or payments received but never reconciled against what was owed. Rostrel runs the whole claim cycle — from delivered shift to bulk payment request to reconciled payment — using current support-item numbers and 2026–27 rates, so those gaps close.
Sister feature to invoicing: invoicing produces the document, billing is the full claim → bulk upload → reconcile cycle.
What NDIS billing software covers
Claims built from delivered work
Every claimable line traces to a rostered, note-attached shift — so you claim everything you delivered, and nothing you didn't.
Current items and rates
Rostrel uses the NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2026–27 (effective 1 July 2026) and the new 0138 SIL items replacing the 0115 series from 1 July. Plan managers must reject unregistered SIL invoices from 1 October 2026 — Rostrel keeps you on the right items ahead of that date.
Pre-submission checks
Over-limit rates, retired items and missing funding lines are flagged before a claim goes out, cutting the rejections that delay payment.
Reconciliation
Payments are matched back to claims so underpayments and gaps are visible, not lost. Location loading (remote 1.40×, very remote 1.50×) is applied automatically.
How Rostrel compares
Astalty, Brevity, FlowLogic and SupportAbility all offer claiming. Rostrel's angle is the unbroken chain — roster → note → claim → reconcile in one system, from $299/month priced per active participant with unlimited workers, rather than per-seat pricing. Our comparison pages go feature-by-feature and stay honest about trade-offs.
Pricing
From $299/month (up to 10 active participants), scaling to $349, $699 or $899 as your participant count grows — unlimited support workers on every plan, no setup fee, no lock-in. The Free tier (up to 8 support workers and 15 active participants) launches 1 August 2026. See full pricing and plans.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Rostrel's invoicing and billing?
Invoicing produces the invoice document; billing covers the full cycle — claim capture, bulk claiming, rejection prevention and payment reconciliation. Rostrel does both from one record.
Does Rostrel use the new 0138 SIL items?
Yes. Rostrel uses the 0138 SIL items that replace the 0115 series for services from 1 July 2026, ahead of the 1 October 2026 date from which plan managers must reject unregistered SIL invoices.
Can it reconcile payments?
Yes. Rostrel matches payments received against claims submitted so shortfalls and non-payments are surfaced.
How much does it cost?
From $299/month, priced per active participant with unlimited support workers. A free tier (up to 8 support workers and 15 active participants) launches 1 August 2026. See pricing and plans.
