The Xero integration covers the two places NDIS money actually moves. On payroll, Rostrel interprets the SCHADS Award against each rostered shift — penalty rates, allowances, sleepovers — and exports an approved timesheet to Xero with earnings rates already mapped, so your pay run reflects the award rather than a spreadsheet's assumption. On billing, Rostrel generates price-guide-correct invoices from delivered support, pushes them to Xero and tracks them through to paid. It's included in every plan at no extra cost.

Does Rostrel integrate with Xero?
Yes. Xero is Rostrel’s live accounting integration. Approved timesheets export to Xero payroll with SCHADS earnings rates already mapped, and invoices push to Xero and track through to paid. Xero stays your payroll and accounting engine — it runs the pay run and Single Touch Payroll filing — and Rostrel makes sure the hours, rates and invoice amounts feeding it are correct.
Does Rostrel work with MYOB or other accounting software?
Xero is the live accounting integration today. MYOB and other tools are on the roadmap and prioritised by what providers actually ask for on demo calls — if you run MYOB, tell us and it moves up the list. In the meantime Rostrel exports the same clean payroll and invoicing data as files you can bring into another system, so you are not blocked.
Does Rostrel connect to the NDIS portal for claiming?
Rostrel manages NDIS claiming inside the app: every claim is linked back to a completed shift note, so what you claim matches the support that was actually delivered, and not-yet-ready claims are surfaced before you submit. Do I need Zapier or middleware to connect Rostrel?
No. The Xero integration is built into Rostrel — there is no separate connector, middleware layer or Zapier subscription to buy or maintain. You authorise your Xero organisation once and the payroll and invoice flows run from inside Rostrel.
Will Rostrel replace my accounting software?
No — Rostrel is not trying to replace your accounting system, it feeds it correctly. Rostrel does the NDIS-specific work (SCHADS award interpretation, price-guide billing, claim matching) and hands your accounting software clean, correct data instead of a spreadsheet’s best guess. You keep the accounting tool your bookkeeper already knows.
